Principalement active à la télévision, elle commence sa carrière en 1951. À partir de 1964, elle connaît un succès international en incarnant Samantha Stephens dans la série télévisée Ma sorcière bien-aimée (Bewitched), diffusée jusqu'en 1972.

Parallèlement à son travail pour la télévision, Elizabeth Montgomery joue dans plusieurs films et téléfilms, parmi lesquels Condamné au silence, Mercredi soir, 9 heures..., La Revanche du Sicilien, La Légende de Lizzie Borden, Meurtre au crépuscule et Meurtres en série.

Gig Young (born Byron Elsworth Barr; November 4, 1913 – October 19, 1978) was an American stage, film and television actor. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performances in Come Fill the Cup (1952) and Teacher's Pet (1959), finally winning the award for They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969).

In 1978, Young murdered his 31-year-old wife three weeks after their wedding before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide at the age of 64.

William Milton Asher (August 8, 1921 – July 16, 2012) was an American television and film producer, film director, and screenwriter. He was one of the most prolific early television directors, producing or directing over two dozen series.

With television in its infancy, Asher introduced the sitcom Our Miss Brooks, which was adapted from a radio show. He began directing I Love Lucy by 1952. As a result of his early success, Asher was considered an "early wunderkind of TV-land," and was hyperbolically credited in one magazine article with "inventing" the sitcom. In 1964, he began to direct episodes of Bewitched, which starred his wife Elizabeth Montgomery. He produced the series from the fourth season.

Asher was also crucial to the success of AIP's Beach Party series.

Asher was nominated for an Emmy Award four times, winning once for directing Bewitched in 1966. He was also nominated for the DGA Award in 1951 for I Love Lucy.
